Body Shop Manager job at Nissan of Gadsden Gadsden, AL, US

Job Description

Greeting customers and obtain all necessary insurance coverage for Damaged vehicles
Consulting with technicians about needed repairs, tear down and estimates
Answering customer questions about repairs
Informing customers about insurance findings
Overseeing and managing the Body Shop scheduling and workflow
Informing customers of changes in repair times or when their vehicle is ready to be picked up

RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet customers promptly
Obtain customer and vehicle information
Clearly report all vehicle damage to the insurance carriers
Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
Establish follow up time
Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the repair, and update customers daily
Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
Explain all completed work and charges to customers and collect funds for the repairs

REQUIREMENTS

Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
Past experience as a Body Shop estimator, service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant
Above-average energy level
A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization
Personal and professional integrity
Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs including CCC Estimating system and Dealertrack DMS
