Arlington, TX - Pay Range $25-$29 hr

Job Brief

The Machinist II position is responsible for operating at least 1 line of production equipment (CNC / Conventional Mill / Lathe) in safe manner and in accordance with standard operating procedures with no direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a CNC machine
• Reviewing work orders, engineering drawings, surface locations, machining parameters; interprets geometric dimensions and tolerances.
• Under no supervision sets tool registers and offsets; calculates requirements using basic math.
• Sets up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three and four jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers.
• Maintains specifications by observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts to close tolerances; adjusting offsets; replacing tooling.

Requirements

• 5+ plus years CNC Experience (HASS preferred)
• Experience measuring tight tolerances
• Ability to change programming as needed
• Experience with calipers and micrometers
• Reliable transportation and lives no more than 30 minutes from shop
• Clean background and can pass drug test
• Ability to work 7am-3:30pm M-F
