Summer Grove Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA, is seeking the Lord’s direction for our next Senior Pastor, who will lead our staff and shepherd our congregation to Elevate Christ and Make Disciples locally, nationally, and globally. Summer Grove has been a distinctive church in our community for over 175 years and is recognized for being a loving place to belong with our ministries centered on evangelism, discipleship, and outreach. We have Sunday morning and evening and Wednesday evening services for our community. We also have a Hispanic Ministry that meets on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. The ideal candidate will have a passionate devotion to preaching the inerrant Word of God without compromise, share in our love for missions, and be able to discern and implement the vision God has for our church.
