Description Job Summary & Essential Functions: The following describes in general terms the purpose and scope of the position. The Training Coordinator communicates with managers to identify training needs and develop training plans for teams and individuals. Maintain training records in the company training database and input data promptly and accurately. Perform technical training and coordinate training with other designated trainers to support the needs of the company. Perform on-boarding training and administrative tasks defined by HR.
- Maintain training records database
- Design and develop training programs
- Perform on the job and classroom style training for employees
- Gather and evaluate information from employees and management on previous training to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional training
- Inform employees / supervisors on scheduled training and track their progress
- Recommend training materials and methods, order and maintain in-house training equipment and facilities
- Coordinate or provide training on IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, IPC-7711/7721 and IPC-A-620 (current revs)
- Perform internal audits on the company’s Quality Management System as directed by the Quality Manager or delegate
- Provide training reports to management generated from the training database
- Remain up to date with IPC standards and training techniques
- Other appropriate tasks as assigned by Management

Qualifications – Minimum - IPC-A-610 certification
- Able to certify as a CIT in IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, IPC-7711/7721 and IPC-A-620
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Strong understanding of a full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to work with limited supervision
Qualification – Preferred - CIT in IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, IPC-7711/7721 and IPC-A-620
- Experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator or similar role
- Knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools
- Advanced skills in MS Office
- Lean Six Sigma concepts, 5S training
Required Experience/Education/Training/Certifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the outlined experience level, education, training, minimum years of experience, product or industry knowledge plus any certifications in order to be considered.
- Minimum High School education with up to a two-year degree in Business and/or related courses or one to two-years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. On-the-job training may be utilized.
- Strong computer knowledge and skills, i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
Preferred Education - Academic degree in a related discipline or certification in technical training
- Current PPC CIT certificate or able to acquire.
Work Environment And Safety Equipment Required The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job.
- This is an electronics field service and manufacturing environment that requires the use of safety devices including glasses with side shields and ESD equipment/clothing. Long periods of standing or walking may be required.
